As autumn comes in the Assiniboine Forest in mid-September, a spectacular palette of colour emerges from the trees, shrubs, and other vegetation. Probably spring and summer are the more interesting seasons in the forest, because of the growth of new forest life. But autumn wins hands down, when it comes to beauty.
In the fall of 2020, the autumn colours in the forest peaked right at the middle of September.
